Magical. You could genuinely feel a true sense of togetherness on stage, and it is with great pride that I watched my daughter be herself, be happy, and perform. I cannot recommend Lark Dance Studio enough, nor can I praise the staff who work there enough! Everyone at Lark is always ever so friendly and welcoming, in a way that they create a real sense of community for the children who attend their classes. Teachers are professional, caring and dedicated. Lessons and shows are always children-centred and of high quality. My daughter has been attending ballet and tap lessons at Lark for 3 years now. Not only has she made incredible progress over time, but she has also grown in confidence and bloomed into a much more self-assured little girl who has developed true pride in the skills she has learned in her dance classes. We, as parents, have now watched our daughter and her friends perform in 5 shows over the years and each of them has always been a moment of pure pleasure. I never cease to be amazed at how well-rehearsed and talented everyone is. From the toddlers’ performances to the young adults’, every dance and choreography inevitably bring a smile within the audience and all the shows are truly heart-warming and inspirational to watch. After the months of lockdown, isolation, school bubbles closures and social restrictions we have all gone through over the last 16 months, it was truly wonderful to finally see, at the beginning of July, everyone come together again and show case their talent and their love for music and dance. Seeing all those children on stage with a big smile on their faces as they finally performed again in front of an audience was truly moving and magical. I would finally like to commend staff at Lark for keeping us all going throughout lockdown. I cannot tell you how grateful I am that teachers never stopped offering weekly remote lessons throughout lockdown since the pandemic started. They managed to preserve that little bit of normality and offer our children the physical and mental support they needed when things were really tough last year, and for that, I am deeply grateful. Your lessons from home were a real breath of fresh air for the children and meant more than you'll ever know!
